I have graduated from university and I am planning a trip around the world. I have one stop in each of these regions.

The Rideau Canal is 126 miles long. It links Lake Ontario at Kingston and the Ottawa River. It was a significant place because it used to be a secure supply line between Upper and Lower Canada in case Americans cut trade along the St. Lawrence River. Now, it is a playground for kids to skate in the winter and for boaters in the summer.

The Canada Science and Technology Museum is Canada's largest science and technology museum. This museum is suitable for all ages and I get to discover some of the most important scientific objects in Canada.

The Canada Dance Festival includes exciting dance performances by break dance acrobatics and hip hop dancers. It is a chance to see some of Canada's best DJs and MCs on the stage.

Strawberry fields is an international garden of peace that features the planting of 121 nations. It is tear drop shaped parcel of land shaded by American elms gently sway down curving paths amidst a profusion of shrubs, bountiful flowerbeds and isolated groves of trees. The strawberry field was named after the famous Beatles song, "Strawberry Fields Forever". Strawberry Fields was the name of an orphanage in Liverpool.

Times Square is the busiest area in New York City because it is the mere intersection of major streets. There are many theatres there in Times Square, giving me an opportunity to watch entertaining shows.

Federal Hall is one of the most famous buildings in American History. Federal Hall was the location where the Stamp Act was signed into congress on October 7th, 1765 and the Bill of Rights was signed by William the Orange on September 5th, 1789.

The Brasilia National Park include the basins of the Rivers Torto and Bananal with landscapes formed by open country, scrublands and ciliary forests, as well as two mineral water swimming-pools.

The Museum of Indian is one of the 24 museums within the Federal Capital that tell its own story and trace Brasil's course through history.

Visiting the Cerrado is discovering the well known beauty of the natural world in Brasil with its twisted trees, the hidden waterfalls, grottoes, lakes, natural swimming pools, caverns and nature trails. These phenominal sights constantly surprise the visitor with their rare species of fauna and flora.

Tate Modern is Britain's national museum of modern art. It is located in the former Bankside Power Station on the banks of the River Thames. The gallery displays many wonderful exhibitions, contemporary work, and installations.

The Natural History Museum includes a permanent dinosaur exhibition as well as a collection of the biggest, tallest, and rarest animals in the world. There is a life sized model of a Blue Whale, the 40 million year old spider, the earthquake simulator and an elephant bird egg.

The Tower of London is a Royal Place, fortress, prison, place of execution, arsenal, menagerie and jewel house which has 900 years of history. It is one of the most famous fortified buildings in the world

Emir Taz Palace was built in 1352 to celebrate a marriage between Emir Taz and the sultan An-Nasir Mohammed's daughter. It was transformed into the first Egyptian Girls' School by the 19th century. Today, it is used as a depot for educational supplies.

The Andalusian Garden is one of the few green spaces which survived the urban sprawl. It is located in Gezira between Qasr al-Nil Bridge and Sixth October Bridge. It is a park minutes away from the downtown area. All steps and benches are decorated with fine and colourful mosaic.

Places to go- Town of Balad, Naseef House, Floating Mosque at the coast of Red Sea

The Town of Balad is one of the historical and religious sites in Jeddah. Balad in Jeddah is a 2500 year old town which blends the modern with the age old architecture of the city.

Naseef House in Jeddah is considered one of the oldest buildings in the city. It is owned by one of the merchant's clans of the city.

Floating Mosque at the coast of Red Seain in Jeddah is a must in the itinerary of all Muslim pilgrims and is also known as the White Mosque. It is a great sightseeing place.

Asakusa is home to many popular shops and restaurants as well as the famous Senso-ji temple. It is a great place for dining, city walk sightseeing, walking, and shopping.

Yasukuni-jinja is a shrine built in memory of those who lost their lives defending Japan with a large gate that stands at the entrance. Many officials still come and offer prayer annually on August 15, the anniversary of Japan's defeat in World War II.

Kuringa Chase National Park provides a wonderful scenary of pristine beaches, wildflowers, birdlife and native fauna. There is aboriginal rock art on several trails with tours available.

Taronga Zoo includes Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies as well as a collection of Australia Fauna. In addition, there are animals around the world for sightseeing. The Taronga Zoo offers great Sydney views on the harbour. There are ferries available from Circular Quay.

The Oceanworld gives me the opportunity to watch sharks, giant stingrays, turtles and shoals of fish in a 4 million litre Oceanarium being hand- fed.

1. What did you like the most about this course?

What I liked the most about this course was the limited time we have to finish the assignments and homework. All assignments and homework are due at midnight on Friday nights. Therefore, giving me a weekend without worries. This forced me to do my homework and assignments straight away to get them in on time. I also liked the way we post blogs on a website to hand in our homework. It is very neat and eligible. Also, I have easy access to the information on the website because I have a computer at home. I enjoyed the presentations given by the three speakers. The presentations were very interesting and provided a lot of valuable information.

2. What did you like the least about this course? (other than the teacher)

What I liked the least about this course are the constant assignments and homework given each day. I also disliked the way we have to face the computer for four hours each day. Furthermore, I did not enjoy the gruesome videos this course required us to watch, but these videos did teach me something important to know.

3. What would you change to make it better?

I would change the way students have to face the computers for four consecutive hours each day because it is bad for the students' eyes.

Lifestyle is a way an individual or group lives formed by different habits, attitudes, tasts, moral standards, and economic levels. Each individual has a different lifestyle depending on the way they plan things because lifestyle is the pattern of beviour in which individuals live life. The cost of each individual a month is different according to the things an individual needs and wants.

2. Do you want a better lifestyle then you have now, when you are independent from your parents?
I do not expect a better lifestyle then I have now when I am independent from my parents because I already live a great life.

3. Do you think you can provide yourself a lifestyle as good as you have now?
I think I can provide myself a lifestyle as good as I have now if I record my expenses to help me plan for my needs and wants. If I spend my money carefully, I believe I will have the ability to live a better life as good as I have now.

4. How much do you cost your parents every month?
Including water fee, electricity fee, food cost, house rent, school fee and the cost of materialistic goods, I cost my parents about 1000 dollars every month. I also participate in many extra curricular activies. Therefore, I owe my parents 200 dollars more a month.

5. How is your Post Secondary School going to be paid for?
My post secondary school is going to be paid for with my scholarship if I get one and with the money I saved up. My parents are going to pay for most of the tuition money, but I will have to earn some money myself.

It does not make sense that the age of consent is 14, which is two years younger than the required age for signing up for military service and the required age to have a driving license. The government believes teens are not responsible and mature, but the government makes 14 the age of consent. Many adults believe teenagers do not think carefully about the consequences before putting things into action. Therefore, the government stated a law that a person who is 19 is officially an adult. It is unreasonable for the age of consent to be 14. Teenagers might think that they are mature enough to make decisions in life for themselves. However, teenagers will not know how to handle difficult situations in life when they are in trouble. Therefore, 14 is not an appropriate age for children to have consent.

2. Should this be a legal issue or should it just be a moral issue?

This should be a legal issue because it affects all teenagers in Canada. Many people from the United States uses this law to their advantage and harm the 14 year old children in Canada. If this is made a legal issue, less girls and boys in Canada will be involved in dangerous activities because the children will know they are doing something illegal and will stop after realizing. Canada will be a safer place for citizens to live in because the parents will not have to worry as much about their children. Also, less lives will be ruined because of addiction to drugs, uncontrollable alcohol intake, and the sex trade. A Female Perspective

1. What would you do if you were pregnant?
If I was pregnant, the first thing I would do is to talk to my parents and boyfriend to ask for help. I would be very ashamed and disappointed in myself because I am suppose to be responsible for my actions. I would like to check at the hospital to see if I'm actually pregnant or not, just in case it was a mistake. I would be a little scared at first, but I think I will get through this situation with support from my friends and family. I will not be hiding from reality because doing so will not solve the problem.
2. Would you tell the baby's father? Why or why not?
I would tell the baby's father because I would like the baby's father to take responsibility of the baby. Many boys would abandon their girlfriend and the child and run away because they did not want to deal with the child. I would like the support from the baby's father more than anyone else. He should take care of the child to the best of his ability because it is his duty to do so.
3. How would having a child affect your life?
Having a child would have a tremendous affect on my daily life. The child needs daily parental care, but do not think I am ready to raise a child. I know there are many problems in raising a child. First of all, when I am not financially stable, I will be involved in many expanses like buying milk powder, bottles, diapers, blankets, and clothes. Without knowing the proper way to raise a child, I will have to learn. At this age, I am not mature enough to handle problems I might encounter in the future. Also, people will judge me based on the baby only. There will definitely be pressure and stress brought on me.
4. How would you feel about giving your child up for adoption?
I don't feel that giving my child up for adoption is a good idea because I do not want the child to think his or her real parents did not want him or her. The child might think that he or she is a mistake and will have low self esteem. This would affect the child for the rest of his or her life. Many parents who gave their child up for adoption regret it later because they might not see the child again. I would face my problem and raise the child to the best of my ability.
5. How would you feel about keeping the baby and raising it?
I would certainly feel pressured and stressed about keeping the baby and raising it because the baby needs to be taken care of. I will have to learn how to raise a baby properly and handle school at the same time. This is going to be difficult because raising a baby requires a lot of money. If I do not have a job, then I will not be financially ready to raise a baby. I would have to study very hard at school to get a well paid job in the future. All these jobs combined together will make me tired and stressed everyday.
6. Would you marry the baby's father?
I would marry the baby's father because I want the baby to live with his or her father. I want the baby to have a nice happy family instead of just having a single parent. If the baby lives in a happy environment, it will grow up not feeling a part of them is missing. Furthermore, I want the father to raise the child with me because it is his responsibility to.
7. How would your parents feel if you were pregnant?
My parents would expect me to go to them for help when I am in trouble. They could be shocked or horrified at first, but they will not abandon me to handle this situation alone. I know that they will help me think of a good solution to the problem. They might also support me financially if I am in a poor situation. I might let my parents take care of my baby for a couple of days if I desperately need the time to work.
8. How would your friends feel about you if you were pregnant?
My friends would be shock and surprised if I were pregnant, but they will help me through. They will support me to the best of their ability and try to help me think of a good solution. My friends would talk to me and assist me when I need their company.
9. Would you want to keep seeing the baby's father?
I would want to keep seeing the baby's father if he takes responsibility for the child and loves me. I need to maintain a good relationship with him because we are going to live together for the rest of my life. Also, the baby needs support from his or her father, so I do not want him to leave.

A Male Perspective

1. How would you feel if your girlfriend was pregnant?
If my girlfriend was pregnant, I would take the role of the father and try to find a job to support the family. If one job is not enough for the expanses of the family, I will work two or more jobs if necessary. I will try to make my girlfriend happy and make her feel safe. I would think this is the role of being the father of the baby.
2. What do you think you and she should do?
I think she and I should work together and discuss what to do with our baby. We should find ways to keep the baby healthy. Also, we should learn how to raise the baby properly and start forming a family. We should seek help or advise from the social workers in the community.
3. How would having a child affect your life?
Once I have a child, I have to play the role of a father and educate him or her. I need to teach and expose him or her to different training. Also, I have to work harder to earn enough money to support the financial needs of the family. I would have to sacrifice entertainments for the sake of the baby. I need to learn to stay calm when handling dangerous situations involving the baby.
4. How would you feel about giving your child up for adoption?
Giving up my child up for adoption is not a good idea because the baby is my responsibility. I do not want the baby to not live with his or her real parents. I also do not want the baby to suffer because of my mistake. The baby will feel abandoned and will not be happy when he or she grows up. Many adopted children tend to feel less wanted compared to other kids, since his or her parents did not want him or her. Adopted children usually stay away from other kids and refuse to socialize. I know that I will regret giving my child up for adoption later in life because I will not be able to see the baby anymore.
5. How would you feel about keeping the baby and raising it?
Because the baby is my child, I have the responsibility to raise the baby and keep the baby healthy. I should be more than happy to keep the baby safe. I would like to perform the role of a father. I always have to give up my time for my personal development temporarily in order to raise the baby

If I love my girlfriend and wish to stay with her forever, I would marry my girlfriend. This way, we can handle situations and solve problems together. Getting married is a way of building a family. 7. How would your parents feel if they knew your girlfriend was pregnant?
My parents will give me a parental advise if they knew my girlfriend was pregnant. They would help me think of solutions to the problem and assist me in the best of their ability. They would definitely be mad at me for not taking the precautions of not getting my girlfriend pregnant.
8. How would your friends feel about you if they knew your girlfriend was pregnant?
My friends would be proud of me if they knew my girlfriend was pregnant. They would congratulate me for being a father. They would think I'm great and will treat me well. Many will assist me when I need their help and be supportive. But some of them will find excuses to not help me.
9. Would you want to keep seeing your girlfriend?
I would keep seeing my girlfriend because I love her and will gladly spent my entire life with her. I would keep her company whenever I can and try my best to make her happy. Also, I will raise the baby together with her and help her through hard time. I will build a stable and happy family.

1. Discuss how your thoughts about prostitution changed since Friday's presentation.
Since Friday's presentation, I never thought prostitutions are being controlled by pimps who beat them up and take all their money. I also never thought prostitutions are related to drugs and guns. The life on the streets are far worse compared to a normal high school life because it is life threatening on the streets. I was suprised when the speaker told me about the percentage and the age range of people who enter the sex trade. The speaker taught me that people will do things that they don't normally do to get drugs. It is really scary to know that people will betray their best friends by recruiting them just to obtain drugs. It was neccessary for me to know how pimps recruit people to work for them. Pimps say things to make girls confident and buy things for the girls which the girls owe back later. The girls go to parties the pimps plan and receive free drugs and alcohol. After a few months, the girls should be addicted to the drugs. Then the pimps would threaten the girls by telling them that they owe the pimps money for the drugs and they will have to return the money by working for the pimps. The pimps sometimes threaten the lives of the girls' families. The girls should be too scared to tell their parents about the debt and will do whatever the pimp ask them to do. The pimps ruin peoples' lives. Girls who are prostitutes might have begun because of survival. They might have started being prostitutes when they are 14 years old. Girls do not know the laws like the pimps do and the pimps use the laws to their advantage.
2. What things will you do now to protect yourself and your friends from recruitment?
In my opinion, I would avoid attending parties with people I do not know well. Most of the time, I do not go to parties where drinking, and drug using are permitted. If the location of the party is somewhere I am not familiar with, I will not attend it. If I do attend a party, I will go in big groups of friends. Therefore, we can look out for each other. Also, I will avoid hanging out with people who look like they are involved with drugs. I will not be easily persuaded. Also, I will not take anything strangers offer me, so I will not owe anybody anything. If one of my friends are involved in anything related to drugs or the sex trade, I will leave them and find new friends to hang out with even if it means breaking our friendships because they might try to harm me in some ways.

Her friends then talked her into taking a little puff of pot. At first Mary refused, but her friends dared her to try some, so she did. The next thing she knew, she was smoking more and more pot. Her friends then took Mary to a house to party where there were many alcoholics and drug addicts. Her friends introduced Mary to many boys and one of them offered Mary some cocaine. Mary refused politely. After a while, her friends left her with a boy to talk to other people. Mary was really scared. The boy who sat with her told Mary that she was pretty, then offered her cocaine again. Mary was too scared to refuse, therefore she took some. Mary hung out with the boy very often the next week. She felt safe around him because the boy was tall and handsome. Before Mary knew, she was injecting heroin into her body. She lived at the boy's friends house. There were a lot of other girls who lived there. Mary never realized that the house she was living in was owned by a pimp. One day, the pimp came by and told Mary that she owed him 2000 dollars for the cocaine and heroin her boyfriend provided her. When she was 16, she became a prostitude because she needed drugs more and more each day, but had no other way of obtaining drugs. She was 26 years old when she died from a gun shooting on the streets.

I disagree with the idea of providing free heroin to junkies to decrease the amount of HIV because most of the junkies are irresponsible and they make the wrong decisions. That is the reason why they started taking risks in the first place. Vancouver government should force the junkies to quit drugs in an addiction center. Doing this will decrease the cost of buying drugs and the crime in Vancouver. The government should state a law forbidding drugs except for medical use. All drug addicts would then have to quit and the community would be a safer place to stay in. The Vancouver Police stated that junkies already cost the society over 300 million dollars per year in the property of crime alone already. If 300 million dollars are saved each year, this money can be put into other good use.

Handing out free heroin will not decrease the cost to society since junkies already cost society $300 million per year in property crime alone. This is because some junkies spent $500-1000 a day on drugs. Providing free heroin to junkies would add a lot to the daily tax citizens pay. Junkies would use the free drug the "safe-house" provides to lower their money daily spent on drugs. The cost of the drugs handed out will increase tax by 10 dollars per day for each citizen. Many citizens would be extremely mad due to the increased tax. It is not fair for the community to use the money citizens pay to help these junkies. The government is asking money from the citizens whether the citizens agree or disagree with the "safe-house" to provide money for the junkies. Drug addicts from all over Canada will come to Vancouver due to the heroin the "safe-house" provide. Increasing the amount of crime in Vancouver as well. The junkies will cost more than 300 million dollars per year in the property of crime alone in the future.

Doctors should not be allowed to distribute free heroin because it is dangerous for the doctors to be around junkies. The doctors will not have protection from the junkies when the junkies decide to break in to the "safe-house " to take more drugs. Also, doctors would not know who to give these drugs to. There could be junkies who are twelve years old to junkies who are 30 years old and over. Would the doctors be nice enough to provide drugs for a twelve year old child? If the doctors decide that they would not give drugs to a certain junky, then the other junkies would stand up for that one junky and threaten the doctors until the doctors provide drugs to everybody. However, if free heroin has to be distributed, doctors are the appropriate people to hand the heroin out because they are experts in medical related areas. The doctors should have a body check up on whoever who receives free drugs. Furthermore, there should be police around to protect the doctors.

I believe this "free dope" policy should start at the age of 25 because kids and teenagers under 25 should still be in school. If the policy allows children 25 and under to receive free drugs, then many students would drop out of school. This is because they know that the "safe-house" would always have a spot for them. Children at the age of 25 and under are likely to be beginners in taking drugs. Knowing the "safe-house" would provide free drugs, students who had never had drugs before would be encouraged to try. Therefore, increasing the amount of junkies in Vancouver and making the community a more dangerous place to live in.

The doctors from the "safe-house" should do tests on the junkies to make sure that they are addicts before giving free drugs out. The doctors should also check the junkies' body before letting them go. That way, the government will have a record of the people who received drugs from the "safe-house". Doing this will also prevent junkies from taking more than one dope per day. The doctors should check the junkies' arms and legs for needle holes.

In Leo Knight's article, he is making solid points. He has many important facts within his writing. I strongly agree with what he is saying because the "safe-house" the government created concerns for everybody in the community due to the increased tax of 10 dollars a day. I definately disagree to the idea that the "safe-house" is a good idea to reduce the amount of HIV infection and crime. In my opinion, I believe the government should invertigate this matter thoroughly to consider bringing down the "safe-house".

In my opinion, the analysis is right most of the time because the results of these tests fits the biases I think I have.
